His major concern is the tort law perversion contained in the bill. Everybody and their cousin would be suing him.

He simply doesn't understand the law...........but yeah, in the end he is right. It's temporary.

Trump doesn't give a shit about abortion. He knows what to say to keep his adoring base happy, and he knows that he has to tread carefully here. He can't piss off the rubes. They actually think he's a pro-life Christian

Actually not.

Trump is seeing the political firestorm the bill has touched off and, sensing bad PR, is running in the other direction.

But he’s as much of an authoritarian thug as others on the right and fully supports such legislation.

Firestorm ?

Texas has pushed this to the point that the destruction of the left wing in 2022 is all but assured.

Texas has shown an America absent the right to privacy – and the American people don’t like what they see.

The constitutional right to privacy is a myth complements of William O. Douglass.

Many Americans are happy that this happened.

What is so stupid about the law is the enforcement piece.

Former President Trump knows that he has the political agenda on his side when lefties note his support (or lack of it) for a state abortion law. Old Joe is on vacation.

No, even he knows that this law would be struck on appeal at SCOTUS. Nothing is a greater waste of effort than supporting something that everyone and the fleas on the back of my dog's neck know is not gonna survive scrutiny.

You're completely entitled to.your opinion.
