The EU needs to get ahead of the game here and make as many contingency plans in terms of agreements that are not reliant upon American interests, as does SE Asia, I don't really see any alternatives. I guess the dumbest people in the U.S. are going to get their way. Quite what the International geo-political map is going to look like after Trump's Presidency is anyone's guess.
