I understand. However Trump's been in this game a little longer than some guy who has to work a full time job to keep his head above water. He was going to run for President in 2012, he's spent a while trying to figure things out. How much day to day running of his company has he done in the last 4 years? We don't know, probably not much seeing as his company's going as well/badly as it was before.
If he becomes President he won't need the money, so is he then a politician in your view?
Trump will never make a living from being a politician. Bush didn't either.
The definition of a professional is one who makes money off such a position. You can be pretty good at baseball, but unless you are getting paid to play baseball, you are not a baseball player, you just play baseball for fun and hobby.
Trumps involvement with politics was in regards to his businesses. He stated that repeatedly. In some areas such as NYC, it is a play to pay operation. You have to rub elbows and give money away to politicians to get things done for your business. But that does not make you a politician.
Of course. But things change, and Trump is in a position where he'll never need to earn the money for holding office. It'll be peanuts. So, the definition changes a bit. He's gone from businessman and now he's one of the most prominent politicians going. Ask people to name 5 politicians, I bet they say Trump.
Your desperation is pathetic to watch.
