He said "It's $300,000. By the time I take him to court, and pay the lawyers, what will I have? All that time and all that money and in the end, a may recover half of what's owed. But if I spend the same amount of time and effort pursuing new business, new projects, I can make two of three times the amount that this guy owes me with a whole lot less effort and expense. A real businessman can't make money taking everyone to court.
