Every Republican Senator is expected to vote in favor of President Trump if there is a Senate trial. It would be political suicide for them to do otherwise, unless they want to switch parties.

Although my guess is that there won't be an impeachment vote at all.

A lot of D's are from Trump districts in the House and might not want to vote for it. Further, if Impeachment articles were passed, the issue goes to the Senate where the Turtle is in charge. The trial could last 6 months, which would confine frontrunners like Pocahontas and Sanders to Washington DC for a long time as President Trump gets a chance to present his defense. Keep them off the campaign trail during the primary season.

That might be a good thing for some of them, the less they are seen, the better, they are so weak.
