Trump asks Bibi if he REALLY wants peace. yahoo!!!

P F Tinmore

Look you asked whether or not Arab Palestinians had the right to resist. By resist you mean erase that state or Israel and reject the idea that the Jewish people have a right to their own self-determination

The answer is no. Arab Palestinians do not have the right to resist in that way. Bottom line.

Yes, and you haven't got it right yet...

The rockets did not start until almost 50 years after the occupation.
The Palestinians are asking for nothing that they are not entitled to under international law.
(COMMENT)

Let's see: 50 years ago, the territories - currently under discussion (the West Bank and Gaza Strip) - were both occupied after the end of a military pursuit of hostile forces.

✪ The Israelis occupied the West Bank. → Jordanian Sovereignty.........(NOT Arab Palestinian Territory)
✪ The Israelis occupied the Gaza Strip. → An Egyptian Governorship...(NOT Arab Palestinian Territory)

There are two International Treaties between the Jordanians and Egyptians that put the matter to rest; which dissolved the Armistice Agreements.

✪ Please cite for us what the Arab Palestinians are legally demanding.
✪ Please cite us the authority or international law you claim demands the relinquishment.

The 1948 borders for the Government of Palestine were intact under the UN until 15 May.

The Palestinians accepted those borders in their 1948 declaration of independence.
(COMMENT)

The All Palestine Government was inferior and had not taken sovereignty over any territory; none whatsoever.

Move ahead to the present day.

What is Legal or Legitimate about the Palestinians denying the Israelis right to their religious sites? There will be no response

“ Israel’s War” since 1948? If there is “ peace” please tell us now why the Palestinians have Recently declared limits on some Israeli Holy Sites. Just put on a link regarding that issue. Of course this is not addressed ( deflection) and I don’t expect it to be. :th_believecrap:

OH WOW, like it matters today.

What was illegal or illegitimate about the Palestinians declaration of independence?
(COMMENT)

• The Arab Palestinians via the All Palestine Government (APG) was a puppet regime that had no sovereignty.
• The APG rejected the partition plan, then after the UNPC implemented the Israeli half, the APG comes four months late to claim the entirety of the territory formerly under the Mandate.
• The APG fouled-up the potential for the Arab League invasion, make their claim during the conflict and not a party to the conflict.

Illegal and Illegitimate are the wrong words. The words you should be using untimely, inappropriate, invalid and with no government functions in place in the same way as the Israelis by participating in the Steps Preparatory to Independence. The APG could not even establish a government over the Gaza Strip.

You’re quite befuddled. From 1948 onward, wars of aggression have been initiated by Arabs-Moslems.

You can pretend that history doesnt exist but pleading ignorance after you have been given the facts simply speaks to your agenda.

Egypt was a strong Military Governorship. And the Egyptian hold was such that it dissolved the APG.

No matter what the overt political position was on the sovereignty establed by Jordan in 1950, the fact of the matter is that Jordan established the highest level of control, and the nations of the world accepted the Arab Palestinians of the West Bank exercised self-determination.

This is the one card the Arab Palestinians have left to play.

It is not a matter of legitimacy with the Arab Palestinians, but a matter of violence. The Strategy is to create such a horrific event for the media that the international community might take some action.

The last cards left to play are Rules 23, 24, and 97.

Thank you! One more question the Pro Pal Kool Aid Drinkers will not address; LEGALLY what gives the Palestinians the Right to demand a highway between Gaza and the W. Bank ( obviously within the borders) and the demand that they control it? The answer is Nothing !

It doesn't matter. Neither held sovereignty over the territories. They were occupied Palestinian territories as they still are today.
