President Donald Trump has a joint defense agreement with former campaign chairman Paul Manafort. This agreement is presumably related to all aspects of the ongoing Russia probe led by special counsel Robert Mueller.

The president’s lead attorney, Rudy Giuliani, confirmed the agreement and said that President Trump’s team was regularly in contact with Manafort’s own attorneys. On Thursday, Giuliani also confirmed that the arrangement allowed both sides to share confidential information with one another.

So what?

Mr. Mueller isn't a separate branch of government. He is part of the Department of Justice, which is part of President Trump's Executive Branch.

The boss has a right to know what his underlings, including Mr. Mueller, are up to.

I wonder, why have liberals been so quiet about Manaforts's real connections to Ukraine all this time? Looks like they are afraid to distract that artificially created (by Deep State and its loyal Media) attention to Trump's "ties to Russia" (which never existed) especially before such important November elections...

Wrong. Mueller and his team have no duty to The President.

They are engaged in an "investigation to investigate Russian Interference in the 2016 Presidential Election and Related Matters"

See the letter here:

I know what Mueller is supposed to be doing, but he is still a DOJ employee underneath the President, ironically the same man he is working hard to try and depose. Mueller could be fired this morning, if the Trumpster thought that would be best for business.

But in The Donald's estimation, Mr. Mueller is a lot more useful as a dupe and a foil

What are YOU Smoking?! Mr. Mueller is a contract employee and his investigation is doing exactly what the contract stipulated, to wit: To investigate Russian Interference in the 2016 Presidential Election and Related Matters.

Trump can yell from the edge of the Grand Canyon that the investigation is a witch hunt, but only the biddable believe it, and echo his claim, and they are working to obstruct the investigation by their echoes.

Patriots they are not!
