Listening to talking head defending Obama's Executive Order process used that same old worn out argument "well Obama has done fewer Executive Orders the GWB..." and that obscures the reason for concerns about Obama's EOs!

Theres just one problem. Obama has issued fewer executive orders than any other president since Franklin Roosevelt, according to Gerhard Peters, co-founder of the <a American Presidency Project at the University of California, Santa Barbara. Peters and his co-founder, John Woolley, are among the nations leading authorities on the use of presidential executive power, going back to George Washington. In the modern era that most presidential scholars believe began with Franklin Roosevelt in 1933, Obama has issued the least number of executive orders per year, Peters tells Newsweek, after updating and crunching out the numbers.

Wrong because it isn't the quantity but the KINDS of EOs !
Republicans argue that the President is breaching his constitutional power by side-stepping the legislative process.
Obama has used executive actions as a way to bypass a deeply divided Congress, avoiding inaction on issues the White House
has made hallmarks of the President's second term agenda.
So far, the Republican-controlled House has passed two bills aimed at curbing executive orders by the President, neither of which have gone anywhere in the Democratic-controlled Senate.
