What kind of thought processes went into the judgment that the clip showed Trey Gowdy getting his ass kicked by a clever media?

These folks are in full-blown meltdown mode... a few need to be on suicide watch.

He did the same thing the repubs here do. Ask a bunch of loaded questions and never have an answer themselves. Then quote Hillary "What difference does that make?" and leave never saying what the real motivations were behind the attack.


They just say "it wasnt because of the video" and leave. Why is WHY the attack happened important and why is no one asking the people who attacked to find out?

Maybe because we have never been able to ask the "simple folks" who committed the attacks. After all, they were just a bunch of outraged Muslims who brought mortars to a protest.

This was hard to watch.... I felt really embarassed. It was just a brutal beating that destroys credibility! After this kind of ass kicking about the only honorable thing one could do is to retire and hope that no one recognizes you when you try to sneak out for a Dunkin Doughnuts iced coffee once in a humiliating while.

You are disagreeing. Isn't that enough nuts to suit you? And no, Dumbass, Jarhead is not accusing the President of INTENTIONALLY letting four Americans die. He is accusing the President of doing nothing because of the fear of what a possible rescue failure would do to his reelection chances.

Obama has always weighed every issue against the possible future political fallout, and usually found that doing nothing was his best political option. The numerous times that he voted present in the Illinois senate is evidence of that strategy. That is still his fall back position when he sees possilbe political damage that taking action might cause him.

We have also seen this do nothing strategy throughout his foreign policy. Iran, Syria, Iraq, Afghanistan, and Russia. If you do something, and it doesn't go well, people will blame you for it, but if you do nothing, and things do not go well, then you can easily shuffle off the blame onto events or people out of your control.
