Tranny: The New Sports Fix

To take the topic seriously for a moment, the organizing bodies really need to make some rules regarding this type of occurrence. It will not be long until the NCAA women’s teams are dominated by males transitioning into women. While it is their right and privilege to do this, the organizing bodies are not beholden to accept them. We are going to be getting into the area where your college scholarship is denied because a 6’6” point guard who used to be a male is bigger, faster, and stronger than you are. And that goes beyond the fun and games that sports are supposed to be.

Of course a better thing to do would be to get rid of all intermural collegiate sports at State colleges and universities and the scholarships that goes with them.

It's not about getting 1 strike, it's about getting multiple strikes, and throwing a heavier ball with more force allows for a larger "sweet spot" in the pocket when bowling.

Bruce Jenner should have transitioned decades ago, he could have really dominated women's sports.

It is not clear that the overwhelming majority must join the infinitesimal minority in definitions.

Why is the solution to remove sports entirely?

Why does the majority have to bend to the will of a tiny tiny minority, especially in something as non-essential as sports?

And how is it "their right and privilege" to do this? I didn't get to participate in said sports because I suck at sports, it doesn't mean that just because someone is good at it and they feel like a girl that they get to override the overall purpose of female sports, which is to level the playing field between females in a given sport.

There is no such thing as "males transitioning into women". Even doctors tell their patients this is never actually achievable. So if they aren't women, they aren't women. They can be eunuchs, but they still aren't women. When we geld stallions on the ranch, they don't become mares.

Eunuchs cannot compete in women-only sports. No matter how much lipstick you put on that pig.

Scholarships provide a lot of students an opportunity they would not otherwise have, including a lot of minorities.

It is the solution to a great many things. Not just this. Colleges lose money on sports in almost every case. If that wasn’t the case, those who do make money (Alabama, Ohio State etc) charge more than ever for tuition if they have all this money coming in?

The gender issue would be solved but that isn’t the reason to get rid of state-sponsored hopscotch. It’s a funding issue.

Why does the majority have to bend to the will of a tiny tiny minority, especially in something as non-essential as sports?
Addressed already.

It’s their right and privilege to be whatever they want to be. If we’re going to have intermurals though and offer scholarships, the organizing bodies have no responsibility to cosign the clear advantage a transitioning male has over most scientifically native females. Scholarships and the women’s futures are at stake.

Sports costs colleges money. That raises the tuition for all students. If it’s a tax-payer supported school, they shouldn’t be sending teams across the state or country or even the county to play other teams. Private schools? Have at it! I’ll be happy to watch.

They can be what they want to be, however they have no right to force the rest of us to accept it.

And athletic scholarships are a gateway for many poorer people to get an education. Considering the size of the endowments most of the bigger schools have, losing $$ on some sports here and there isn't really a big deal.

If anyone would have a personal axe to grind about the advantage good student athletes have when it comes to getting $$ from schools, it could be me, as one of the worst athletes on the planet. However unlike a lot of people, I don't begrudge the differing talents of others in their path to success. I got an academic scholarship, others got athletic ones.

Do sports cost colleges money? really? Colleges make a lot of money when they fill up Ohio Stadium and have huge network deals.

Pfft….how are you being forced to accept it?

Losing money on sports (as you acknowledge) causes colleges to have to raise revenue elsewhere. Hence higher tuition for all students.

Again, the “poorer people” could apply to private schools who can spend whatever they want without the inherent penalty to the taxpayers.

ok

The women in those sports sure as hell are being forced to accept it. Again, unlike some people on this board, i can think of others, not just my own petty interests.

What is causing revenue issues with colleges these days is their bloated administration staffs.

Again, college sports have been around for decades, some of them make money, some of them lose money, the biggest ones draw students to the schools and increase their prestige.
