Radio Kerry reports Hanna Hryhoryeva pleaded guilty to stealing €500 worth of items from a Debenhams store on St Stephen’s Day. She was apprehended on leaving the shop.
Her solicitor told Tralee District Court that his client was on the poverty line.
According to Radio Kerry, Judge James O’Connor asked whether all of the woman’s five children were “from the same stable”. Her solicitor told him they were.
