I just watched it. It's very interesting and caused quite a stir among the Arab, Muslim and Sikh communities.
It's about a 13 year old girl coming of age in Texas. She is of mixed ethnic heritage--mother is white, father is Lebanese.
She gets into a couple of sexual relationships, one with a man old enough to be her father, another a teen.
I recommend it. I'd love to discuss it with anyone else who has seen the movie.
