Topic Suggestions

So, I have decided to write a paper for a friend of mine, and I am wondering, a topic? I am hoping for Military History, and I am hoping to get 2-3 suggestions, I might write more then one paper, I am hoping to format it into MLA since I have to do that for English and have a idea of how to do it correctly.

I have a lot of ideas myself, but I'd like to do one from someone else's suggestion, and whomever suggests it I'll be sure to send you a copy for you to critique also .

Depending on the topic, I am hoping to do 3-15 pages on it, really depends on what we are talking about. If it's a broad topic, more pages lol .

I've always been interested in what Otto von Bismark accomplished with relatively little bloodshed. He was the ultimate Machiavellian military/political strategist in my mind; yet it was also through his visions that Germany headed towards the socialism it's now renown for.
