‘Top’ of the lie: Donald Trump caught embellishing story about meeting with Chicago police brass

The "top" cop Donald Trump claimed earlier this week to have met in Chicago was simply a "qualified" officer, the GOP nominee's spokeswoman admitted Wednesday.

Trump was caught in an apparent fabrication during an interview with Bill O'Reilly Monday, when he told the Fox News Channel commentator that he had met with a "top" Chicago Police Department officer with whom he discussed how "tough police tactics" could help quell the city's violence.

"I'm sure he's got a strategy," Trump added about the officer he met with. "I didn't ask him his strategy."

In a statement to NBC Chicago, department spokesman Frank Giancamilli said that "no one in the senior command at CPD has ever met with Donald Trump or a member of his campaign."

How come the right says there's enough money for an unnecessary and impossible wall but not enough to fix our highways, bridges, etc? But hey, another couple of weeks and he'll flip flop on the wall too.

My question is, how is Trump going to build up the military, build the wall, create a deportation force and continue with the wars, all the while, cutting taxes for everyone.

How is he going to pay for all of it? The only revenue the government has is taxes.

Saying you're going to cut taxes and do all the other stuff, is like telling your wife you're going to take a pay cut at work, but still buy the jet ski, boat, convertible and finish off remodeling the house.
