A North Korean nuke to a major US city is a little more than "trouble". North Korea should have been taken care of when we were over there in 1952. Instead, we kept appeasing them with the resources to kill us. Not smart.

Hopefully,SCOTUS will strike the bill down as unconstitutional.

The Legislative Branch cannot take away the rights of the Executive Branch.

By having to appear before Congress to get sanctions lifted, means no crisis
will EVER be resolved. The Bill basically forces a big-time shooting war upon us.

You can't get a foreign leader to back down when it is being debated out in the
open, and being debated by three different sides. The enemy, the libs and the GOP.

Kennedy, as weak and lame as he was, would have never been able
to lift that blockade if it had to be done in the open. He would have been
forced to make the Soviets be humiliated in public, which they wouldn't
have done. We would have had to invade and they would have launched.

Kennedy's advantage was the Russians couldn't match us weapon for weapon
then. They can now.
