4. Telling farmers they can't grow as much food to help reduce carbon emissions.

When I was a child, the world population was a little over three billion.

We now have 8 billion.

That will be 9.7 billion in 28 years and 10.9 billion by the end of the 21st century... but I think even those numbers are too optimistic.
