This republican party since 1980 has a serious touch of facism in their portfolio

Democrats who come in with their populist approach supporting of the rights and power of the people backed with a touch of socialism cannot stop now. Public education, more funding for higher education,IMPROVED Medicare Single Payer Insurance,Social Services and people employed by the government to run the admin services would be examples populist and socialism working together. Populist supporters are excellent for generating a solid capitalist economy.

The RINO dominated irresponsible government has big bucks behind them. Wal-Mart family money and Koch brothers are going not only after democrats but some republicans as well.

Not only that this republican party since 1980 has added a serious touch of facism to their portfolio that which forcibly suppress opposition and criticism, regimenting all industry, commerce, etc., and emphasizing an aggressive nationalism. Turning all our tax dollars over to corporate america = facism in my definition.

Fascism promotes political violence and war as actions that create national regeneration, spirit and vitality. It views violence as a fact of life that is a necessary means to achieve human progress.

It exalts militarism as providing positive transformation in society and providing spiritual renovation, education, instilling of a will to dominate in people's character and creating national comradeship through military service.

Fascists commonly utilize paramilitary organizations for violent attacks on opponents or to overthrow a political system.

Again democrats come in with their populist approach supporting of the rights and power of the people backed with a touch of socialism work well together.

Public education, more funding for higher education,IMPROVED Medicare Single Payer Insurance,Social Services and people employed by the government to run the admin services would be populist and socialism working together. This system also brings our tax dollars home to each of our communities. This system supports retail, culture, real estate, landscaping industry etc etc etc.

"that which forcibly suppress opposition and criticism" = RINO eliminating all republicans that refuse to subsribe to the facist point of view.

So voting against people who disagree with us if fascism?

you realize that makes everyone who has ever lived in a representative government a fascist?

That defines today's 'liberals' (who are not Liberals, they are progressives who are too chickenshit scared to say they are).

And, why is it that you are ok with the Dems being funded by Soros but not ok with the Kock Brothers supporting the right? Surely, if you are a rational person, neither is acceptable?

Do you ever think about what you read or do you just accept whatever a liberal says as 'true'?

Seriously, without even trying I spot several glaring inaccuracies... why do you continually ignore inaccuracy if it suit your view?

Do less drugs.

Tell ya what ya harpy shrew..........here's the definition from Dictionary.com.

As well as here's what it says in Wikipedia.......

Position in the political spectrum

Fascism is commonly described as "extreme right"[48][49] although some writers have found placing fascism on a conventional left-right political spectrum difficult.[50] There is a scholarly consensus that fascism was influenced by both left and right, conservative and anti-conservative, national and supranational, rational and anti-rational.[32] A number of historians have regarded fascism either as a revolutionary centrist doctrine, as a doctrine which mixes philosophies of the left and the right, or as both of those things.[33][34]

Fascism is often considered right-wing due to its social conservatism and authoritarian means of opposing egalitarianism.[51] [52] Robert Stackleberg places fascism — including Nazism, which he says is "a radical variant of fascism" — on the right, explaining that "the more a person deems absolute equality among all people to be a desirable condition, the further left he or she will be on the ideological spectrum. The more a person considers inequality to be unavoidable or even desirable, the further to the right he or she will be."[53]

Not my fault that you're too fucking stupid to look things up on the internet. Guess that's why you never have anything of substance to say.

I know what fascism is, halfwit. And it is not the GOP... to suggest that it is is bullshit - partisan bullshit.

Pathetic drivel from stoners.... nothing more.

Never said it was the whole GOP you pathetic attention whore, I said it's an extreme right wing view, and if you need to know where that is, I suggest looking no farther than the Tea Party (which has continually claimed to be more right than the GOP), then look at how the teabaggers have taken over the GOP, I can see where you'd get confused.

It's because of the teabaggers that the GOP is moving towards an extreme right (i.e. facist) view.

It's amazing that you claim a 159 IQ, yet are too fucking stupid to understand plain definitions from legitimate sites.

The OP calls the GOP fascist, and you agreed with him.

And you call me a pathetic attention whore.... mirror? and, I don't mean the one on the table covered with white powder.

Idiot.

You call the TEA Party extreme.... yea... and yet no criticism of OWS who are waaaay more 'extreme' - by their own fucking admission.

You have an interesting concept of 'rational thought', GayBiker.... in that you demonstrate absolutely none whatsoever.

Good to see that high IQ helps with your reading comprehension as well, because what the OP said was that "THIS (meaning the current one) Republican party (meaning the GOP) since 1980 (about the time they started to shift) has a serious TOUCH (meaning a little bit, but the serious could mean that it's growing) of fascism (definitions have already been provided) in their portfolio.

Their OP then proceeds to define how they see this happening over the course of the past 30 years.

I see you have chosen to do nothing than throw lame insults and make sure your presence is known, using me as a vehicle to that end while not even refuting ONE of their claims.

But..........what else does this board expect from you? It's the same shit day after day.

Oh.......and fwiw............the OWS movement has nothing in common with fascism, but you get an "e" for the deflection.

The OP is gibberish, and you could replace every reference to the GOP with Democrat and it would be equally pointless - but the accusations are just as valid.

My point... since apparently I need to spell it out.... neither side are fucking fascists. Anyone who claims they are is a fucking moron... and anyone who agrees with those people is a fucking idiot. That may be 'name calling' but I can think of no simple way to sum up the intellectual level of this kind of 'debate'.

I'm a progressive and there has been very little progressiveness going on in the Democratic Party and hasn't been for the past twenty years or more.

If you cheer when the police get physical with protesters--

If you feel that some people have no business voting--

If you feel that diplomacy is nothing but appeasement--

If you feel there is no such thing as universal rights then you might be a fascist.

I noticed no refutation with facts of your own, but like I said, it's probably because you're too fucking stupid to look up actual facts on the internet.

But............continue to argue with the events and the actual definitions all you want, because we already know you have nothing of substance to add.

Actually, Republicans introduced antislavery into law in the 1860s and have always supported the underdogs, the Bill of Rights, and the rule of law. I'm sort of wondering why someone would start a propaganda that has no basis in fact or reality, except to keep power in the hands of Republicans opposition.

Passing laws is a joint affair, but last week, a Democrat in the White House asked for one and a third trillion dollars more, when the national debt is already causing the government to have no money left over after paying the interest on the national debt.

You can hate us, but Republicans are just saying no to the impingement of over-sized government with a debt that makes every American citizen with a job carry his share of the $fifteen trillion we already can't afford. We sent people to Congress to rein in overspending on purpose in 2010. If you don't like it, I'm terribly sorry, but we won't wear your labels that we don't deserve. Fascists murder people in concentration camps. We free the survivors when we can with interventions that preserve the free spirit of humankind. We're strong, benevolent people among conservatives, and we think people should be in charge of their own money and gifts and do all we can to keep government as the founders intended it -- to fight off those who don't appreciate the common man having his say so in voting, assembling to discuss both local and international issues, and the right of free speech to say so.

Free speech carries veracity as an obligation. There's no veracity in your charge of fascism in our party. We're deliberate and organized individuals, and when the necessity is great, we can and will put all we have on the line to make things right in this nation for those we know to be down-and-out.

That is not the truth, merrill. Fascists kill people who get in their way. That is not an American conservative trait. Instead, we follow the rule of law and insist the bills get paid timely to avoid interest charges.
