This New Round Of ACA Misinformation In Perspective

So....private insurance companies misjudged the number and type of customers they would have for the INDIVIDUAL health insurance market. The ignored the CBO projections for costs and expected premium prices and announced lower numbers. In reality, the CBO numbers were correct...and now the PRIVATE insurance companies are making the adjustment.

Nutbags...led by the person who knows the least about the ACA ( just check out his dopey comments from yesterday ) are running around trying to kill Hillary Clinton with this news. It will not work.

Why?

For the same reasons that the lies didn't work the first time.....and never worked enough to get the law repealed.

1) The ACA exchanges only impact people who didn't have insurance from another source.....like a job or medicare. These are people buying insurance on the INDIVIDUAL market. Most of these people get a subsidy to help them pay the premiums...and that subsidy will rise along with the premium increase.

2) The premiums for people on the INDIVIDUAL market were always high...and rose every year....so most people couldn't afford to buy a plan. And..when they did, there were lifetime caps, preexisting clauses and other bullshit that fucked the consumer. The ACA basically regulated these plans to make them a better deal and made them AFFORDABLE. They STILL are.

3) The ACA is much more than the exchange. It also regulated the plans that 80% of Americans have through their employers. It made all of these plans better and has managed to keep increases in premiums down to single digits. In addition...it expanded medicare to lots of poor people in states with responsible governors...at no cost to those states. Foolish, politically motivated governors in 19 red states gave their constituents a huge fuck you ad didn't take the expansion.

Enjoy your day.
Medicare? No! Governors are not authorized to expand Medicare. Now you skipped three important elements.. the MANDATE, the soaring costs of deductibles, and co pays, and the punishment on any individual who does not purchase Obamacare. Now ewe enjoy your day you lying partisan nincompoop.

Dumb ass. You know I meant "medicaid". Try harder.
Retard! You said it not I. How the fuck can I know what you meant to type? You are about ten bricks short of a load aren't you buddy?

Governors can certainly prevent the expansion of medicare. Millions in Texas were left uninsured when our governor prevented expansion.
Hello? Medicare is a program for seniors. You are automatically enrolled in Medicare at age 65. Now how will a governor expand or contract Medicare?

Make it available to a larger group of people. You should look up the definition of expand.

She is playing games. I meant to type "medicaid" and she knows it.

Everybody knew it was a simple mistake that didn't really change your meaning. Nit picking is all they have.

Nit picking is all they have.

No, reading your posts is all they have.

If YOU make the mistake, it's not their fault they couldn't read your mind

What it tells me is that you do not know your ass from a hole in the ground. You are just spouting bullshit. Obamacare is a failure. Admit it. It sucks!

The ignored the OMB projections for costs and expected premium prices and announced lower numbers. In reality, the OMB numbers were correct

The OMB numbers showed these huge insurer losses and giant increases in premiums?
If that were the case, why did the Dems think it was a good idea?
Why did Obama lie and promise $2500 annual savings per family?

No. The CBO numbers showed higher costs and suggested higher premiums. The private insurance companies didn't accept those numbers. As it turns out....they were correct.

I will answer your $2500 question when you admit that it is a retarded question.

The CBO numbers showed higher costs and suggested higher premiums.

Where? By how much? Link?

Asking about Obama's lie is retarded? Why do you feel that?

Fuck your links. This is common knowledge for those who paid attention. The CBO suggested higher costs and forecast higher premiums than the insurance companies went with. And...we are ONLY TALKING ABOUT PLANS ON THE INDIVIDUAL MARKET.

The $2500 question is retarded because you are ignoring the context of the comment. Good boy!

The CBO suggested higher costs and forecast higher premiums than the insurance companies went with.

How much higher? 5%? 10%? 100%?

The $2500 question is retarded because you are ignoring the context of the comment.

You mean the context of, "If you like your plan, you can keep your plan"?
Or, "If you like your Doctor, you can keep your Doctor"?

The context of all the other lies they told before they passed that unworkable piece of crap?

She 'knows' it?

Maybe her crystal ball is as cloudy as mine?

th

Maybe. Or...maybe she's just as much of a loser prick as you are?

Or maybe you yourself didn't know it and now are just trying to save face????

Asking questions in order to get the truth from a left winger is a futile endeavor........

Damn straight! And Hillary is a lesbian who broke security laws, let people get killed in Benghazi, puts hits out on people and her husband is a sexual predator. Don't ask for links. Fuck your links. If I believe it, it's true and you're wrong. I love your logic. It works for so many things.

Why Obama Is Wrong About ObamaCare, In One Chart

President Obama weighed in on Thursday with two ideas that he says will make the ObamaCare exchanges work: Subsidies for the middle class and a public option to keep insurance companies honest and premiums in check.

No doubt, providing subsidies to households earning just above the income cutoff at 400% of the poverty level would make some difference. But Obama's prescription is fundamentally flawed because he has overlooked ObamaCare's harsh reality: It's giving a bad deal not just to the middle class but to a wide majority of working-class households.

Just 1 in 3 people earning between 150% and 250% of the poverty level, who lack insurance from other sources, are getting silver-level coverage that will protect them from financial disaster if they have a costly medical emergency, an IBD analysis finds. That's based on official enrollment data as well as estimates of the uninsured population by the Department of Health and Human Resources and Kaiser Family Foundation.
