This needs to be posted and watched again, and again and again...

So he exploded because he doesn't like compromise. You see it as NO when it is actually a not yet. Maybe if the republicans weren't used to being told to shut up because we won..... And maybe if all these bills had been brought up in a timely manner. We'll see what happens in the next 2 weeks or so. By the way, ever get a paycheck signed by a poor man?

Look, personally I don't care if that's the stance they take on 99% of other bills. Well, I do mind a bit, but not like this.

This bill is NOT to be used as a political football.

Oh come on that's all anyone in Washington has done since it even got close to Novembers election. No matter what side of the isle it's all been political jockeying.

Except when legislation is so important that it must be passed. This is that legislation.

You know, you guys could just try to argue the bill on it's merits. But since you aren't doing that, i presume that you dont think it has any.

That's fucking hilarious!!!

I wonder if he soiled himself?

Yeah, you're right, it's really FUCKING FUNNY, isn't it? It's all a big joke to you, isn't it?

Well done, sir, you've succeeded in showing everyone your true colors.
:clap2::clap2::clap2::clap2::clap2::clap2::clap2:

What's even funnier if at all possible is Ed Shultz on MSNBC spitting up blood because the 99ers as he calls them got left out of the recent deal to extend unemployment benefits yet again.

It's a well known fact to those who will accept the truth that a good deal of these 99ers will by their own admission start to look for work when their benefits run out because they will have no choice but to do so.

And we are supposed to feel sorry for these guys?

Anyway I tune in to MSNBC for the comedy factor. It can't be possible that these guys really believe the crap they shovel.

Legislation that is so important that it must be passed doesn't exist. And if it did, you wouldnt have it dropped on us during a lame duck session.

Oh, and if it did exist you could actually argue for it on it's merits instead of playing emotional games.

You need to be careful with these things.Nothing is always as it seems.I heard the Republicans explanation
as to why they voted against this bill. But that never makes the so called truth cable channel MSNBC.The Dems pulled some kind of move that the GOP didn't like and when they backed of the little Weiner went nuts. This is meant to make the Republicans look like scumbags but the whole story never makes it out there because the liberal controlled media wants the folks to hate the Republicans.
Exactly, the dimwits always do things to make the republicans look bad.

I'll argue it on it's merits:

1. It's a fund for 9/11 workers that fell ill because they were trying desperately to save people buried under tons of rubble.

There's my first point, do you have a counterpoint?

Like you all give a shit. The 9/11 responders HAVE INSURNACE through their jobs. this is just another friggen ploy by you lefties to bludgeon people over the head with.
so NOW who is using 9/11...you and your fellow lefties.

An excellent point, which is completely ignored by the left leaning members in this thread.

I mean they can't even address why they arent recieving health services from their benefits that we all know they had as first responders.

Not only this they act like it a rush when 9/11 happened over 9 years ago. If this was such an important piece of legislation, it should have been brought up years ago.

But they can't argue for the legislation. They just say "9/11" and think it must pass.

That's not how the US works.

Im not saying this is bad legislation. The problem is those who are whining about it not passing arent making any serious arguments for it. Relying on emotions is not a serious argument. That's the argument of a con man.

It's been in the works for a year now.

And the only people playing games here are the Republicans, who are holding this bill hostage in order to further their political agenda.

It's not "playing a game" to try to do the right thing.

There is no filibuster in the House of Representatives. Democrats elected to "fast track" this bill, if it's the one I'm thinking of, which requires a 2/3 majority and not just a simple majority.

So Democrats could pass this if they did not choose to "fast track" the bill.

That is incorrect. Republican senators are in fact filibustering until they get everything they want, like tax breaks for the rich.
Not unlike the dimwits forcing the healthcare socialist bill and how many others through without letting anyone read them. The dimwits are wrong and you know it, if you don't educate yourself.

You're SO RIGHT!

Because not one Democrat voted to give George Bush war powers after 9/11, right?

didn't the demonRats provide healtcare to ALL AMERICANS? once already?

No, they did not. The Republicans successfully blocked that too.
You are an idiot, I seem to remember the healthcare bill passed. If it didn't, yeah!!!

It did, after having any measure that would have given it teeth stripped away due to the continuous efforts of the right-wing media.

You don't seem to be able to read, but I'm apparently the idiot.

That is also incorrect. I do not in fact watch MSNBC, ever.

I've just watched a whole bunch of actual video footage I found on google, as well as looked at a variety of print media on the subject, all on the internet.

OH, and Jon Stewart of course.

Here read this:

9/11 health bill fails first test, Senate Republicans filibuster measure in 57-42 vote

The Republicans have specifically stated that they were filibustering the bill until they got their tax breaks for the rich.
Yeah, John Stewart is a credible source, I am laughing so hard I am crying.
