The man deserves the Death Penalty and the Girl only got a life sentence because the prosecution did not make it abunduntly clear she savaged the other child. I absolutely disagree with ANY mandatory sentence. I do how ever reserve the right to petition for the removal of any Judge that lets criminals off with a slap on the wrist. Mandatory sentences and 3 strikes your out and zero tolerance all abdicate the responsibility to properly review each case and provide proper sentencing based on that case and its particulars.

And God has no place in the Justice System. It is Man's law by Man's Government.

I believe in an eye for an eye. Why shouldn't these two murderers be put to death? Why should they be allowed to kill and maim but live themselves? Not only do I believe in an eye for an eye, I believe they should be executed in the same manner in which they took their victim's lives. Period.

It is an unjust inconsistency to burden those under the age of majority, (namely, the 16 year old) with adult criminal responsibility while not assigning them equivalent adult rights. Though it was merely an odd coincidence that they were "furious" after being kicked out of a casino because of their age, it does illustrate the seemingly irrelevant effects of ageism leading to disastrous consequences.
