President Trump recently tweeted claiming that former President Obama wiretapped him during his campaign. One can only imagine how nuts the media would have gone if the roles had been reversed: President Trump wiretapping either Obama or the Clintons, though his DOJ could have authority to do just that given the expansive leaks of intelligence information by Obama and Clinton supporters the last few months. Heck, he could wiretap the media at this point, legally and legitimately, as the sources of these unlawful leaks, for which Obama himself set precedent. Do liberals understand what Pandora’s Box Obama opened up by Obama using the powers of the NSA, CIA and FBI to spy on his political opponents? Even Nixon never did that.

Nor did O'bama. He can't.

There could also have been serious legal problems if O'bama had donned a mask and walked into a bank toting an AK-47 and robbed it. Or if he'd poured cyanide into the DC water supply. Or if he had defiantly torn the "Do not remove this tag" tag off a piece of furniture, crowing "come and get me, coppers!"

And if the warrant was issued, that means the FISA courts found probable cause that the Trump campaign was committing extremely serious crimes. Which even republicans have been forced to admit would be 'the biggest scandal since Watergate'.

So......did FISA authorize those wiretaps? If so, Trump is fucked.

This is nothing but a diversion to slow the Russian connection investigation. It appears that the orange clown is guilty as hell. So, the demented old fool is trying to lie his way out. No evidence offered at all as to the charges the President Obama ordered any such actions, just the rantings and ravings of the extreme right.

The deflection theory to take the world's eye off the ball is popular but I don't buy it. That would require a calculation. While Rump is in no way incapable of such a tactic, I'd think he would have come up with a more effective, and far less clumsy and problematic one than this. As others have pointed out, only a FISA court (not O'bama) could order such an action, and if they had it would point to a serious case of foreign interference, which points directly to, and amplifies, the entire Rump-Russia connection/collusion, which would seem to be the last thing Rump wants the spotlight on.

I go with the Occam's Razor approach on this --- yet another impulsive and juvenile no-filter tantrum hissyfit from a pathological liar obsessed with his own Narcissistic Personality Disorder. It was 6:30 in the morning, he was already melting down, and he didn't take the time to think it through, per usual pattern. That's why he's been in hiding, hoping it will just wander away and everybody will just "forget".

Actually if a bug were discovered in Rump Tower, the first entity I'd suspect would naturally be Russia. But O'bama didn't have the power to do this anyway. Moreover if Rump genuinely thinks there was a bug (by the FBI), all he has to do is pick up the phone and ask the officials who work for him. Obviously, finding that out wasn't his objective. It's just yet another simple emotional meltdown from an adolescent who has never emotionally grown up.

The evidence if mounting that the Obama administration used the FISA court to wire tap the opposition candidate and the president elect.

IF evidence of wrong doing had been uncovered, it would have been front page news and on every media outlet 24/7. Hence the FISA taps were purely speculative and conducted for political purposes.
