In the UK, the government cannot stop you from owning and using a shot gun. Most Americans don't know that. The way it works is, the police need to find a reason why you're not suitable to own the shotgun, so just need to know the serial numbers, record of sales, and your gun cabinet is secure. You can own more than just a shotgun in the UK but you are more limited than citizens in the United States. Perhaps that is because you are legally just subjects of the crown.

Our wonderful Democrats are planning to turn us into subjects of Democrat Presidents but they will find many of us are not willing to play that game. We prefer to be free and that one of the main reasons we value the right to own firearms.
