The release of evidence in George Zimmerman’s murder trial quickly made a mockery of his second-degree murder charges, and threw a further layer of shame upon media and political opportunists who misrepresented a tragic, but fairly straightforward, case of lethal force employed in self-defense.

Just a technical correction since you wish to point out - well - incorrect items.


1. Martin's autopsy report shows his height at 71" (that's 5'11").

2. Police reports from that night peg Zimmerman's weight at 200lbs not 150. (Martin's autopsy weight was 158lbs.)

Actually we don't "know" that Zimmerman was returning to his vehicle (he wasn't driving a car), we only have Zimmerman's claim that he was returning to his vehicle.

Of course this is the same claim that Martin jumped him at the "T" intersection of the sidewalk knocking him to the ground and Martin then mounting him and punching him repeatedly about the head requiring Zimmerman to then shoot Martin.

Of course this is inconsistent with the physical evidence since Martin's body was off the sidewalk and well down the south leg of the path.




So no, we don't "know" that Zimmerman was being truthful.
