There were many immigration raids under Bill Clinton, many employers and employees were arrested, but it added up to a hill of beans, compared to the numbers that were coming in from the southern borders. You can pass all the laws that you want, when liberal run states are defying those laws by creating sanctuary cities and issuing driver's licenses to illegals, telling their law enforcement officers they have no right to check for a person's legal status, and are allowing people to hire illegals as long as they follow the same laws for hiring legal employees, Like I said they aren't even willing to report or hand over criminal illegals. If you live in a sanctuary city, then you'd know about the policies. You need to brush up on the situation before you make any claims. Your solution has been tried many times before. I remember seeing many immigration raids during the 90's. The whole purpose of these sanctuary cities was that liberals decided to stop this "inhumane" treatment of the undocumented, by virtually giving them the same exact rights as legals. Remember, it's all about creating a larger voter base. Democrats think by opening the floodgates to illegals, it means that at some point in time we will be forced to give them legal status, which means more Democrat voters.
