Speaking at the University of Nebraska Omaha a day after his final State of the Union address to Congress, Obama complained that some Republicans in the audience failed to applaud when he insisted America is the world's strongest and most powerful nation.

'I mean, I understand why they wouldn't want to give me credit for it – which is true,' he said.

Smart is about making the correct decisions. It's not about being able to do math quickly.

Why you think a CONSTITUTIONAL SCHOLAR should be able to subtract numbers in the thousands in an instant under pressure is beyond me. If he were good at that, he'd not have been president, he'd have been something else. Maybe a Math professor, maybe an engineer, maybe a hacker. But not president.

Actually intelligence is measured by numerous methods. One of them is math. Another is problem solving. Another, reading comprehension. Etc.

Problem with Obama is he's smoked too many joints. And the only reason he keeps his weight down is because of his coke habit.

I recently worked with an 18 year old homeschooler who had no idea what happened in 1776 or why we celebrate the 4th of July.

You can look all over youtube and see videos of public school graduates that don't know that.

Even worse. I wasn't trying to criticize homeschooling, though. That young lady had very good study skills and we quickly filled in the potholes ... or sink holes, in this case.

I understand the occasional typo. But when you use a word that doesn't resemble the word you "meant" to type , then no, I don' think you know how to tell the age of the US by it's birth date.

I expect the President to understand basic math, to know when the Nations birthday is and how old she is.
