There is something in the water in South Carolina.

They are the far right of the party who are being washed clean in the blood of common sense by the GOP mainstream.

Oh come on. What's the big deal? This is who the Republicans are. What we expect of them. They are who they are. Why the shock? Listen to them and you know the real them. Quit trying to make them into something they aren't and most of all quit making "excuses" and except the truth.

Ya really what is the big deal, when dip shits like yourself say stupid shit like, repub want to shove granny off a cliff,or rpubs want to end welfare,or they are all racist, really whats the big deal.

One data point does not make an indisputable truth. We can however make the assumption that the GOP has radicalized, since few members of the once and no more grand old party speak out and condemn outrageous talk and actions.

Of course foolish comments are not limited to conservatives and R's, some of those on the left - and in particular some of the talking heads on MSNBC - prejudged the events in Ferguson, IL and even now, when faced with the evidence, continue to accuse not only of officer, but now the prosecutor of wrongdoing.

I'm of the opinion that those who gave false and misleading statements to the investigators ought to be charged with obstruction of justice, and if they provided such statements under oath perjury. I also believe the media ought to be condemned for calling riots "protests" and that any video which clearly identifies those persons who inflamed the rioters and those who damaged property be brought to justice.

Is this the best you can do to support your "assumption" that the GOP has "radicalized?"

The difference, which anyone not slow on the uptake will recognize, is that comments directed to a single person are defamation, and comments to a group are not. Thus, when I call the NRA a terrorist organization, I'm voicing a political opinion, when I call chickenwing slow on the uptake, I'm stating a fact and as such it is not defamation. Calling the POTUS a "tar baby" is protected speech only because the president is a public figure. Those who did so are cowards, for they would never walk into a club and loudly proclaim, "there are too many tar babies in here."

Of course not. Do you have a different term for those who chose to shorten the time to vote, close polling places to make voting more difficult; require unnecessary and intrusive medical procedures before a women can have an abortion, close clinics with arbitrary and pernicious rules limiting access for abortions; promise to obstruct all legislation and even shut down the government again 'cause it's there ball and if they don't get their way they'll go home?

How about childish radicals? That seems fitting.

Let's at least get it right. He's a tar baby with Dumbo ears.

And yet he has accomplished much with those Dumbo ears. He has heard the pleas and needs of all the people, not simply the power elite, and acted to level the playing field. Unlike some of our citizens, whose character was formed by hate and fear, and who listen selectively and choose to remain ignorant.

I suppose name calling gives the willfully as well as the cognitively challenged ignorant a sense that they have something of substance to report.

1. Requiring voter ID (like every other country) to prevent vote fraud.

2. Restricting the ability to kill viable babies.

3. Congress fulfilling its Constitutional duty to pass a budget.

4. Allowing elected representatives to vote on proposed legislation.

Very radical, indeed.

Oooh, ouch!

1. No problem. I support that as long as the Congress defines what is proper ID and provides the money for those who need to secure proper ID (otherwise it becomes a poll tax). j

Now, explain why Republican Governors have closed polling places and reduced the number of days and hours for voting.

2. Maybe you ought to read R v. W? See:
Roe v. Wade - Wikipedia the free encyclopedia

3. Your point escapes me. Budget debate has always required cooperation and compromise. The rules of the Senate and H. of Rep. are an impediment.

4. Up or down vote? Neither party has been willing to change the rules in either the H. or Rep. or the Senate.
