This is a very interesting – and alarming – essay about the various generations and their political outlooks. The alarming part is the tendency of the millennials to turn to socialism as their preferred form of governance. I personally do not understand why they cannot see the results of this in other governments and the failures of that form of governing.

Yet over time, the millennials—arguably the most progressive generation since the ’30s—could drive our politics not only leftward, but towards an increasingly socialist reality, overturning many of the very things that long have defined American life. This could presage a war of generations over everything from social mores to economics and could well define our politics for the next decade.

As an older person I take offense to the blatant disregard to the facts. The liberal knuckleheads on the beltway along with their progressive liberal media fucked up this country by increasing the reach of government control. Millennials are the most narcissistic generation ever

This is a follow up to a previous post which expands somewhat on that essay's points of view.

Joshua Grubbs, a doctoral candidate in clinical psychology at Case Western Reserve University, asked millennials and adults 60 years and older to rank generations on their narcissism.

The older group ranked millennials 65.3 on a 100-point narcissism scale, whereas millennials rated themselves as 61.4, according to the Huffington Post.

He also found that millennials don’t like being called narcissistic, even though they admit to having the trait.
