The real reason the GOP hates the ACA

What a fucking lie your OP is. And it's based on a lying fucking article.

Here's the quote the author messed with to blame Ernst's comments on Obamacare.

She was talking about food stamps. NOT OBAMACARE. From the original link.

"Ernst did not mention the entitlements of Social Security and Medicare, however. Instead, she questioned the growing budget for food stamps.

“We have lost a reliance on not only our own families, but so much of what our churches and private organizations used to do. They used to have wonderful food pantries. They used to provide clothing for those that really needed it, but we have gotten away from that,” Ernst said. “Now we’re at a point where the government will just give away anything. We have to stop that.”"

Ernst carries concealed weapon 8220 90 percent of the time 8221 AUDIO

Here's the bullshit the OP linked to. This part isn't even in the original link to the Iowa interview. This Jonathan Chait is an asshole.

Check it out.

“We’re looking at Obamacare right now. Once we start with those benefits in January, how are we going to get people off of those? It’s exponentially harder to remove people once they’ve already been on those programs…"

Now he links to what Joni said about food stamps. NOT ABOUT OBAMACARE.

"We rely on government for absolutely everything. And in the years since I was a small girl up until now into my adulthood with children of my own, we have lost a reliance on not only our own families, but so much of what our churches and private organizations used to do. They used to have wonderful food pantries. They used to provide clothing for those that really needed it. But we have gotten away from that. Now we’re at a point where the government will just give away anything.”

He's absolutely mangled the interview with Radio Iowa. Unfreaking unbelievable.

Fucking liars the whole bloody lot of you liberals.

I like jimmy but he has become dishonest and a tool for the Democrat party. not caring about his fellow country men and women and what they care about or thinks. Party over country is a sad thing to be known for in my book

boy oh boy, more shit stirring and nothing of value

you threads are becoming a real bore

Did I make you read them? I think not....

I read them to see what liberal lie du jour I will discover. Like in this one.

It was so easy to backtrack with the link the son of a bitch gave back to the original interview..

Damn you liberals have no fucking shame at all. You're like mini Gruber's thrilled to death to try to put some bullshit over on people.

I have not one issue with anyone who disagrees with little old me or other conservatives based on their beliefs.

But when those same individuals have to resort to lies, to the twisting of some one elses words or actions to back up their beliefs that's when I start spitting bullets.

I have a thing for the truth.

JimH52 & OnePercenter: I love your signatures!

Republican healthcare plan: go away and die.

As for me, I'm a budding entrepreneur - starting my own law practice in January, getting off the government teat - and I'm counting on ACA coverage to allow me to do that. (Contrary to popular belief, not all lawyers are well off - certainly not country lawyers, who serve an essential function in rural America, but can't charge anything like the fees big city lawyers make.)

If ACA is gutted by SCOTUS, I don't know if I'll be able to afford coverage, as I'm in a non-exchange state and I don't know what will happen to the premiums if all the subsidized participants are gone.

Hopefully I'll be able to swing full price for the meds that make work possible for me (I suffer from frequent & severe migraines); if I ever become seriously ill without healthcare, I'll end up bankrupt.

I don't see how anybody can argue that the American Dream is remotely possible in this day and age without affordable access to healthcare.

Link to the go away and die plan.

You raise a good point - ACA, of course, was largely drafted by Republicans - modeled on Romneycare, which has been working well for years in my home state of Massachusetts.

But because the N@#$%* in the White House proposed ACA and it's nicknamed for him, somehow it's EVIL BAD SOCIALIST CRAP!!!! :cuckoo:

On a related note, would someone tell me roughly the partisan breakdown of USMB? It seems heavily right wing, but I've only been browsing the forums for a short while, so my perspective is admittedly somewhat limited.

You mean lies like "Death Panels" and "Ebola is going to kill us all and it is Obama's fault!"

Like those lies?

Gal, yes it is heavily right wing. But we all have our burdens in life.....

Actually, the majority of posters on USMB are great people. Whether they are left, right, or in the middle as I am, they are passionate about their beliefs. I have been around to a couple of other Boards and found this one to seem the best all around.

So allow your passions to flow as you debate each of us!

The necessity for ACA stems from Reagan deregulating the healthcare insurance industry.

The ACA is a bunch of lies designed to fool stupid people according to the architect of the legislation. You are welcome to keep supporting it ... But that would make you one of the stupid people he was talking about.

To what end?

It helps stupid people think they actually accomplished something good by lying to everyone and laughing about how stupid their supporters are. I am sure the architect could do a better job explaining the bullshit he put in the legislation because he thought you were stupid enough to support it.

.

You know I am really getting sick of the lefts lies about repubs not wanting those who can't afford health care saying that they will be on their own.
Republicans want a free market based system which would allow people who can't afford health care to go to free privately run clinics and the ones that are run like that right now are doing very well.
It's the Dems polices that are holding them back from becoming prosperous, where they could have them everywhere all across the country.
The cost is much cheaper than any government run health care.

"The real reason the GOP hates the ACA"

Most on the right don't know anything about the ACA but lies and misinformation, and their hatred of the Act is predicated on those lies and misinformation; we've currently got a nitwit rightist with a thread seeking to propagate the 'death panels' lie.

Most conservatives have been lying about so many things for so long now that they don't even know what the truth is anymore.
It's tyranny.

and that is no lie

You mean lies like "Death Panels" and "Ebola is going to kill us all and it is Obama's fault!"

I got your link's authors ass nailed to the wall for lying by misquoting Erst in his hit piece on Ernst.

The whole OP Ed is bullshit just like your OP fool. There is a difference. You are obviously too stupid to see the difference so let me show you.

Re: Your OP and Chait's over the top lying claim

Chait took a quote from Ernst on Obamacare and slyly mixed it together with an entirely separate quote during a Radio Iowa interview where she was discussing food stamps.

That's a lie. Your OP and his article are based on a total fabrication.

A BIG FUCKING LIE.

Re: Death Panels Palin made the charge that there would be death panels.

Whether one agrees or not Governor Palin actually said what has been printed and repeated in the media.

Re: Ebola You're the drama queen here asshole. People on both sides of the aisle were genuinely concerned on how to handle this new wrinkle in the spread of ebola.

Go chastise your media for covering Ebola 24/7. They drove the Ebola stories day and night.

Go chastise your President for over reacting and sending troops to Africa then if you don't believe him that the disease is deadly and must be contained. I happen to believe it's the truth.

Go chastise your President then for over reacting and asking for billions in aid to stop the spread of ebola.

Go tell your President he's a liar for discussing the seriousness of the outbreak.

Tell him he's fear mongering and lying about how deadly the disease is.

Death Panels and the discussion on ebola and heightened concerns to me are not lies.

Your OP and Chait's hit piece are lies.

It amazes me that Progressive Liberals still support legislation the designer indicated was a bunch of lies he thought only stupid people would believe ... Go figure, guess he was talking about Liberals.

Liberals go around talking about how smart they are ... And even their own kind think they are stupid ... That has got to sting!

.
Gruber admitted he lied to America.

Gruberites interpret this as a liar lying about lying to them.

Gruberites think Ebola is gone from the GOUSA forever and eternity.

Gruberites think Obama saved us from Ebola.

They'll never admit they were wrong. It's party over country and the rest of us in it can go to hell in their book

We never admit we were wrong? Hey when should I be expecting ebola to kill us all again?
Nobody ever said it would kill us all.

If it gets out, it will decimate Gruberite ghettos.

Country folk that wash, and don't engage in sex with any open hole, will have little to fear.

It is fine for Massholes.

Every state should have their own plans, like Mass did.

We have had public health clinics and free state hospitals in LA since before FDR had Huey Long murdered.

Do tell. How the hell do you come up with "the ACA was largely drafted by Republicans"?

You've got to be fucking kidding me.

There were seven key Democrat authors of the bill including Baucus, Pelosi, Reid and others and of course numerous other state legislators.

Oh and of course Dr. Gruber was a pivotal figure in Obamacare. He's a Democrat btw.
