This 1967 version of The Producers is a hilarious satire of the business side of show business, The Producers is one of Mel Brooks' finest, as well as funniest films, featuring standout performances by Gene Wilder and Zero Mostel. Dick Shawn in the Spring Time for Hitler sequence is wonderful. Rotten Tomatoes gave it a 91%. In short, it is sublime.

The 2005 film version with Nathan Hale and Matthew Broderick is amusing but not as good a the original.

The 1967 version is available for rent on Prime and Apple TV and free on TCM cable.

If you love comedy, you don't want to miss this film

I have always enjoyed watching The Producers I also like Zero in A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum.
I agree. Also he played the lead in Fiddler on the Roof on Broadway in 1964. He was a great actor on stage, screen, and TV. He played the bad guy, comet relief in a number of movies and even guest started on the long running western TV series , Gunsmoke.
