Many, it seems, were incensed at the attempt by the NYTimes to hide the associations of the Left with violence by dredging up an earlier debunked lie....

"The New York Times has published an editor’s note correcting an editorial that linked the 2011 shooting of Rep. Gabby Giffords in Tucson, Ariz., to a fund-raising email by former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin. The editorial drew complaints from many conservatives and from Palin herself, who hinted she might explore legal action against the newspaper.

“An earlier version of this editorial incorrectly stated that a link existed between political incitement and the 2011 shooting of Representative Gabby Giffords,” the note reads in its entirety. “In fact, no such link was established.”

The Times did not offer an apology."

Many recall the story and the subsequent retractions by the media.

But not many know how important it was to the Left/Liberals/Democrats to try to indict a Republican/Conservative for violence....rather than reveal links to their own side.

Here's the motive of the media:

The insane killer, Jared Loughner was a product of Leftist propaganda in schools funded by Barack Hussein Obama.

  1. Left-wing pot-head Jared Loughner. As soon as he shot up the Gabrielle Giffords political event, Paul Krugman wrote his column, “Climate of Hate,” announcing that the cause of the shooting was “toxic rhetoric” coming “overwhelmingly from the right.” This was followed by the usual torrent of exactly zero examples.
    1. Sadly, for the Left, lots of Loughner acquaintances chimed in: “left-wing,” “political radical,” “quite liberal,” AZ SHOOTER: Left-Winger JARED LOUGHNER – He Likes Watching US Flags Burn & Favorite Book is Communist Manifesto One friend said Loughner never listened to talk radio, of watched TV news. Throw in “never read books” and you have the dictionary definition of a liberal.
    2. Research turned up an Obama-Loughner link: Obama and Ayers shunted funds to support Maoist Michael Klonsky. In 1991 Klonsky and Ayers co-founded a project known as the "Small Schools Workshop" (SSW); the teacher preaching the “social justice” gospel that American capitalism is a racist, materialist, imperialist cauldron of injustice can have greater impact on the students he seeks to mold into his conception of the “good citizen” — and on the teachers he is teaching to be preachers. Another Communist in Obama’s Orb - Andrew C. McCarthy - National Review Online .
    3. During his formative high school years, Jarod Lee Loughner attended the Mountain View High School, in Arizona…a school whose curriculum was designed by Mike Klonsky, friend and associate of Bill Ayers and Barack Obama… Shooting suspect?s nihilism rose with isolation - Herald News

Hence, the attempt to tie the murders to the Right.....rather than hinting that something much closer to their home might have played a role.

The NYT is a left wing publication, has been for a long time. When they fund a high-profile play in Central Park depicting an obvious President Trump-themed Julius Caesar being assassinated, and then refuse to cut that funding then what other conclusion can be drawn? Isn't that a rather explicit endorsement of extreme violence?

The NYT was dead wrong to portray Loughner as aright wing loon, he was just a loon period. As CNN's Jake Tapper pointed out in response to the NYT editorial: "even way back in Jan 2011 we knew that Loughlin's obsession began 3 years before the Palin map." Tapper made that same exact point back in 2011 when he worked for ABC.

No, not 'period.'

He was educated in Left-wing madrassas funded by Barack Obama.
This was the motivation to pretend that Palin was the source of his mania.
