I had some green card workers back years ago. One was a woman with two children. A friend asked me if I would help them out and find some work for them so I hired them to do some work for us around the house. They also needed a place to live so I let live in a rental house I owned for a few months until they could find a place. I even gave them a car and since she wore the same size clothes and shoes I wore I went through the closet and gave her clothes and shoes I had not worn for awhile. Her husband trashed the car by playing like it was a race car. It wasn't too long after that she told me it just wasn't fair that we had so much and others had so little.
She let her card run out so her job was out too.
I have seen it both ways. My point was these type people are socialist and communist that believe what is yours should be their too. I started my own business by scrimping, working and saving. Well, we all have to learn that when people are handed anything that they did not have to really work for, they do not appreciate what they get. Even jobs have to be earned. Take it from someone who has been there, they need to be sent back home so that they can earn the right to be here.

People make a conscience decision to break the law, knowing full well what the consequences may be if they get caught. They do it anyway. Then cry about how unfair it is.
It's no different than when a parent commits any other crime, even if they are citizens. They get caught and get sent to jail, separating them from their children. Breaking the law has consequences. Don't like the possibilities you face if you get caught? Don't break the law.
We do need to end birthright citizenship. It's abused. If parents have no business being here, their children should not be given automatic citizenship. I don't know why parents would want their children to be citizens when they know they can be deported at any time. I had my daughter in Germany because we were stationed at an Air Force base. She was considered an American citizen born abroad. Babies of parents here illegally should have birth certificate stating that they are foreign citizens, not Americans.
Change that and stop benefits and illegal immigration will stop on it's own.
Economic status doesn't matter...Dirt poor lawless illegals are NOT the immigrants we are looking for.
This is actually a simple problem that has a simple solution. Make a law that anybody caught her illegally faces a minimum 5 years in prison. People will be running for that southern border to get the hell out of this country so fast it would make your head spin. No need for a wall either. Very few would want to come here with a strong enough deterrent.

As long as we make prison a hell hole. But prison today is in many ways more comfortable than trying to work and make it in the world. I am all for making prison unbearable as long as the guards are not abusive. Unbearable meaning they work at jobs and have few luxuries to enjoy. All for libraries, but not access to computers.

Most likely, it would require a free pass for Anchor Babies already here, but at least that would disqualify new ones spawned by newly-arrived parents in the future.
