The Most Honest Assessment of Electric Car Benefits.

Obviously pro-coal Trump is backwards and even electric cars won't undo the damage of that mindset. Electric cars can easily be better if we used already available, clean tech like nuclear to plug the gap in wind and solar.

Not surprising, but the video implies that all electricity is generated by coal, when , in fact, as of 2017, only 30.1% of our electricity was goal generated. Much cleaner burning and cheaper natural gas is our main source of electricity, and with all the other cleaner sources being used, it's not hard to tell why coal is just a relic of the past. That was a great propaganda piece, but like most propaganda pieces was mostly just a lie.

You see, the climate crusader types get suckered all the time by headlines like THIS >>

Electric Vehicles Begin To Bite Into Oil Demand

( In todays RealclearEnergy )

But read the end of the article....:cul2::cul2:.....use of oil ( Petro compounds ) will continue to DOMINATE the energy market for decades. The climate crusaders never take into account "scale" as it relates to renewables technology. They conveniently ignore the comparisons.... thankfully the rest of the world doesn't!!

I know facts are not really in your wheelhouse B but China produces the most pollution in the world, is the worlds number one user of coal for electricity consumption, uses coal for 62% of its electricity production, and is becoming the number one producer of electric cars which will skyrocket power consumption. India is not far behind. The pollution costs of solar are just now being exposed, especially spilled chemicals from broken panels.

Coal in China - Wikipedia

Germany Is Burning Too Much Coal

Germany, still gets,44% of its electrical power from coal.

It is just amazing how facts, even ones from overseas, are ignored by the left when they conflict with ideology.

Well, a lot depends on the country they are being used in, the regulations surrounding their manufacture, ant the type of plant generating the electricity.

In China they aren't gonna be that great, here or in Sweden for example? They will be much cleaner.

Yep.... and China will be increasing its coal production 50% by 2050.:ack-1::ack-1: And the k00k climate crusaders want carbon taxes up the ying yang here in America. It is just impossible for these people to think on the margin..... like going to a proctologist for a cold and pronouncing that your sinuses are clear!:aug08_031:

I have never seen it explained more succinctly than this. The great savior ain’t really what it is cracked up to be. It does show how successful propaganda and brainwashing can be.

Now you are a really dumb fuck. Bjornborg is an lying asshole from the word go. And here in Oregon, where 94% of our electricity comes from renewables, these cars are actually nearly carbon neutral.

Who cares?

Nobody is buying electric cars. Last year, Ford sold more Focus compact cars then all EV sales combined.

:iyfyus.jpg::iyfyus.jpg:

The EV market has grown in the past 5 years.... ready for this....1%!!

Liar.

Not sure why you are so opposed to electric cars. Nobody is forcing you to buy one.

I wish that were true. But, if the electric car fails in the open market (even as heavily subsidized as it is), there will be a call to make them mandatory. There are those who just won't tolerate others who don't adopt the green revolution.

Big deal. There were those that just wouldn't tolerate indoor toilets too.

Replace the ICE engine with electric is replacing a marble bathroom with slit latrine.

And it can only be done by force.

It is simple: Electric transportation for individuals and families. For each one produced, equivalent renewable installations to supply the electricity (collectively). This would engender lighter, better vehicles. It would encourage innumerable advances and employment.
The downside is it would require intelligence and moderation. This would obviously have to be imported.
