Some of people's concerns have grown out of bogus claims spread by those whose only agenda is to kill reform at any cost. The best example is the claim made not just by radio and cable talk show hosts, but by prominent politicians, that we plan to set up panels of bureaucrats with the power to kill off senior citizens. Now, such a charge would be laughable if it weren't so cynical and irresponsible. It is a lie, plain and simple.

In my opinion Pelosi and all that unduly insulted (including calling him a racist) this Man and his Family, who require further apologizes, should humbly line up and kiss his...rump, and apologize to the whole family, especially Mom...

Agreed with the caveat that there is a time and place for comments like he made. I'm not saying it is unwarranted but there are other venues where this may have been more appropriate.

He apologized to the Obama, Obama and Pelosi said they accepted it and that was the end of the matter (in essence) , the rest is political theater and persecution.

Sure but Cantor and his friends are taking up the chant on the campaign trail so I have nothing to say about honoring Wilson. We're known by the company we keep. Imo, he was just trying to get out of trouble. He's like a kid, he'll say anything.

They pay extra for Medicare Advantage because it rolls a Medigap policy on top of traditional Medicare's coverage. Eliminating Medicare Advantage does not eliminate that coverage. It would simply change the way that coverage is purchased.
