I was sent a letter by the World Wildlife Federation because of my membership with it.
They asked me about my opinion is about this "Holocene Extinction", and what can be done about it, in order to stop it.

I wrote them a letter, saying that that Holocene Extinction is nothing more than the extinction of the world's mean, unintelligent and/or not adaptive to the earth's natural demands for more intelligent species.
This extinction allows more intelligent, more friendly and curious species to expand and multiply.
It also isn't affecting the earth's lowest life forms that allow it to thrive like insects and bacteria.

Take a look a the conservation records.

Humans and Many other primates- Least Concern.
Dolphins and Orcas - Least Concern
Many of the Macaws and Parrots and Toucans - Least Concern.

Compare this to...

Tigers and Lions, and Cheetahs - Endangered / Critically Endangered.
Rhinos and Elephants - Same.

Of course, as with any extinction.. it isn't a cookie cutter, things of great value sometimes go with it...

But this Holocene Extinction is clearly a transition from Darwinian Instinctual behavior, towards Brain power.
Because now Brain power is Darwin's "Fittest".

That's what I said to them.
