You can't deny Johnny Manziel based on his stats in 2012.

I suspect there will be a good rivalry between him and Everett Golsen from ND in the next 3 seasons.

Golsen is awesome. Another Russell Wilson.

Both Johnny Football and Golsen will have defeated Alabama.

Paul Hornung was in the lineup of former Heisman winners - where was OJ?

Alabama is already the National Champions, the game against the patsies from ND is merely a formality.

OK - whatever.

Last ND game I was really scared over was when ND played #1 USC in the LA Coliseum in 1972 - aquited themselves well - having the lead in the 3rd qtr before losing 45-23.

Won the NC the next season.

You guys aint no 1972 USC I can tell you that.

Hornung did not deserve the Heisman over Jim Brown

Agree.

But Jim Plunkett didnt deserve the Heisman over Joe Theismann.

Manziel has a weirder throwing motion than Tim Tebow.

Safe to say he won't be a starting QB in the NFL.

Good human-interest story though.

There is something fishy about "freshman" Johnny "football". The dude looks like he is about 35 years old.

The Heisman voters made the right choice. Big margin of victory.

Manziel doesn't look that old to me.

Of course - when I was 14 - I looked about 11.

You are shitting me...he looks at least forty.
