Not really. Video is fucking heartbreaking and very difficult to get through. I really love her voice, think she's a gifted singer. I sincerely hope she finds the help she so desperately needs.

Singer Sinead O'Connor has written a heartfelt tribute to her family, apologising for "viciously" insulting them during a breakdown last year.

In a touching post shared on Facebook, the Dublin singer said she was highly remorseful towards those she had attacked, and posted a number of warm memories about her "really cool" family.

But yesterday, US-based Sinead wrote: "Last year I did something...unforgivable because I was out of my mind. I insulted very viciously, people I love. My family specifically...

"I want to apologise here for the fact I did such an awful thing. I am nothing but remorseful and it is, as I said, unforgivable...

"Because actually they're really cool. And it's me who's been the total A-Hole. And it really hurt my family, what I did with Facebook."

The 50 year-old, who underwent a life changing hysterectomy last year, went on to share a number of childhood memories of her family in order to rectify what she wrote about them last year.

In one story, she compared herself to her father, who she remembers chasing a "bad boy" down the road on her brother's tricycle for kissing her step-sister.

She wrote: "It was funny to see him on the trike...his knees nearly hitting his face. He's a fighter. Like me. I think I'm the most like him that way of all his kids. We are scrappy

"He's very emotional in a good way...he loves poetry and music. He just wants a peaceful life. Poor guy.. can you imagine having to have a daughter like me? I've been the mythical 'third child is always trouble'.
