$150.7 billion dollars. How does that sound to you? Apparently, it's ok to Dimocrats.

Key Highlights

  • At the start of 2023, the net cost of illegal immigration for the United States – at the federal, state, and local levels – was at least $150.7 billion.

  • FAIR arrived at this number by subtracting the tax revenue paid by illegal aliens – just under $32 billion – from the gross negative economic impact of illegal immigration, $182 billion.

  • In 2017, the estimated net cost of illegal migration was approximately $116 billion. In just 5 years, the cost to Americans has increased by nearly $35 billion.

  • Illegal immigration costs each American taxpayer $1,156 per year ($957 after factoring in taxes paid by illegal aliens).

  • Each illegal alien or U.S.-born child of illegal aliens costs the U.S. $8,776 annually.

  • Evidence shows that tax payments by illegal aliens cover only around a sixth of the costs they create at all levels in this country.

  • A large percentage of illegal aliens who work in the underground economy frequently avoid paying any income tax at all.

  • Many illegal aliens actually receive a net cash profit through refundable tax credit programs.

That 11 billion Wall cost when Trump was elected sounds like the Deal Of The Day now doesn't it?

The politicians that opposed it at the time (both sides) should be horse-whipped.....The ones dragging their feet today, just shot out of hand.

Had it been finished, it would definitely have slowed the flood down.

FAIR is the national progressive media watchdog group, challenging corporate media bias, spin and misinformation. ANTI IMMIGRATION. Like everyone else in the U.S., immigrants also pay sales taxes and property taxes , even if they rent. This means undocumented immigrants pay billions of dollars each year in taxes – over $492 billion dollars in total taxes in 2019 alone.

It was not finished because the money was stolen by Republicans
.Brain Kolfage and Andrew Badolato were sentenced for their alleged involvement in the scheme, which siphoned the money from hundreds of thousands of people who donated to their “We Build the Wall” campaign. The campaign promised the donors that their funds would go toward the construction of a wall at the border with Mexico, which is part of Trump’s core platform.
And the money Biden is giving to build the wall will go to helping illegals to cross. We are screwed both ways.

Walls does not prevent illegal crossing, enforcing our imigration laws do. And Biden is not willing to do that. "ILLEGAL IMMIGRATION IS A CRIME" and majority claiming asylum does not qualify. "AIDING AND ABETTING ILLEGAL IMMIGRATIOIN IS A CRIME."Open borders is aiding illegal immigration. But once they are in the country it is impossible to round them up and deport them. DO NOT LET THEM IN AND LET BIDEN OUT

Using a far less biased source... We have what, somewhere north of 12-15 million illegal aliens?

Undocumented immigrants are paying their taxes today, too

The Bipartisan Policy Center, a Washington-based think tank, notes that “most experts believe the vast majority of tax returns filed with ITINs today are filed by undocumented immigrants.”

Some noncitizens who legally immigrated to the United States also pay taxes using this method.

In 2019, according to the IRS, more than 2.5 million tax returns were filed using ITINs, accounting for nearly $6 billion in taxes.
