Once again Olivia Coleman does a great job. Emma Stone also does a great job... Rachel Weisz I am not a fan of, not sure why. Just don't like her.
Anyway as one critic states - "it is an occasionally accurate portrayal of Queen Anne during a war with France, and her rumored intimate relationships with female members of her court. "
It is not meant to be historical accurate, and gladly makes no attempt to say it is. It is just a fictional/non fiction story based on real people, who pretty much were who they were in the movie, and doing what they did in the movie. But there is no written record what is in the story is accurate. But rumored and told behind doors for years.
Good period peace with an ending that has a moral story like in a good Aesop Fable.
