And because of that... he is a seriously underappreciated fantastic actor.
Playing the role of a psychiatrist who unknowingly is counseling a serial killer. Who decides to kidnap him and chain him in his basement so he can tell him the truth and stop his homicidal obsessions.
It isn't working.
Lots of twists... plenty of edge of your seat thrills, Steve Carrell does a great job playing a trapped man trying desperately to sooth the nerves of the nations most dangerous murderer.
