You are confused.

Solar and wind suck because they are inefficient and low energy output and will never amount to much. The same with ocean energy. Hydropower has been maxed out in the US for several decades. Burning garbage produces more problems than it solves. Geothermal power has a little potential if you live in the right spot but the egineering on that is a nightmare..

Only two way to produce the energy this country needs and that is nuclear and fossil fuel. We have about 200 years of fossil fuels left so we are not going to run out soon.

First understand that EV's can't possibly replace gas and diesel vehicles 1 for 1.

Then we'll all come to an understanding that mass transit and far less travel are the only answers other than just ignoring the problem of AGW.

Let me guess, you live in a European style city that grew up around mass transit. It doesn’t work in American cities that grew up around cars. Mass transit only works in heavily populated cities with dense-pack housing.
