The American Dream died in 2012. When Obama started serving his second term.

The American Dream vanished when the MSM decided to distort news and then omit them. So, they can oppress the American people into "believing" what they were reporting was "actual" news. Workers compensate for low wages by borrowing. Student debt is stifling. Fewer affordable homes are being built.

You do know that you can hire a builder to build you a house don't you? You don't have to buy one that's already built

For example I have an employee who is single and she just had a home built. She's 26 or 27 years old.

The fact that she can do this basically throws your entire argument out the window.

There are many homes on the market that can be considered fixer uppers but young people don't seem to want to buy those

You don't have to go into debt to go to college

You don't have to spend more than you make

If all you want to see are the excuses why things can't be done then that is all you will ever see,

These kids don't want to own homes. That means they have to mow the grass, paint every now and then..pressure wash. IOW...work. They're content to just rent and let everybody else worry about maintenance.

Not that the price of housing isn't inflated, it definitely is. Housing should be able to be paid with 1 week's work. Property taxes are a factor in that, as are kids not wanting to own homes because they have to maintain them, and Landlords taking advantage of that. Then it gets boosted up a notch because the province wants a piece of the pie, too. There's a housing bubble right now, believe it or not. Not as inflated as before, but still inflated.

Wait until illegals get deported and the price of construction labor rises.
