Do you pass by the Salvation Army Bell Ringers, not even looking them in the eye?

Or do you give some change or a buck when you pass by?

I always put money in, they see me coming a mile away

I look them in the eye, smile sometimes, and not give them anything. I appreciate what they do but I think there are better ways to donate time and money.

Every time I see them they get something. And I make the kids shop for Toys for Tots too, which is akin to torture at their age but hopefully they get something out of it.

I always throw change in the bucket. I also throw money in the bucket when people stop me at intersections. My favorite charity is St. Jude, though.

i give as locally as possible..that is why i like food banks and to give to the local animal shelter...o and any kid who braves the long drive way...the barking to kill dogs....and has the nerve to knock on my door...i will buy their overpriced mal ( i have a 15 dollar tub of cookie dough in fridge to prove this)

Starting tomorrow evening, I will be trudging the streets collecting for local charity. I do it every week in December. I will be one of Santa's little helpers.
