The Army Might Be Ditching Its ‘Woke’ Image As It Faces Historic Recruiting Problems

But the issue today is the military embrace of butt fucking men wearing dresses and lipstick
To this day I am 100% undefeated in my idea that whenever gay anal sex enters a conversation, it is ALWAYS a conservative trying to talk about it. You creepy fucking pervert. Come out of the closet, be happy, and talk about things like a human instead of the weirdo you're stuck being right now.

It was not conservatives that inserted gay issues into the military

There are soldiers wearing dresses and billing the taxpayers for sex changes

So the issue is yours that conservatives are responding to

Male on male rape is rampant. 101st and 83rd are savages. Makes college hazing look like child's play.
You won't see this sick shit reported or written about.
My son is a captain. I couldn't believe what I was hearing.

The Army Might Be Ditching Its ‘Woke’ Image

As It Faces Historic Recruiting Problems

11 Mar 2023 ~~ By Micaela Burrow

  • The U.S. Army’s new brand and ad campaign largely omits reference to woke identity politics and could be just what the service needs to overcome historic recruiting obstacles, experts told the Daily Caller News Foundation.
  • Prior advertising efforts alienated conservative families that once served as the Army’s primary recruiting base, according to experts.
  • They “forgot that the primary market for Army recruiting is young men from traditional families, looking for a challenge,” Elaine Donnelly, president of the Center for Military Readiness, told the DCNF.
The Army’s new branding campaign, unveiled Wednesday, shied away from social justice and diversity themes as it seeks to overcome a historic drop in recruiting, military experts told the Daily Caller News Foundation.
The service’s buy-in on identity politics could turn off conservative families, which have traditionally served as the military’s largest recruiting base, and exacerbated the service’s recruiting woes in fiscal year 2022, experts and lawmakers warn. But, the years-in-the-making rebrand, with a goal of showcasing the Army’s role in defense and innovation throughout American history and encouraging soldiers to push their limits, could help the Army meet its ambitious recruiting goals for 2023, experts in military readiness told the DCNF.

The Army has come under fire for embracing perceived left-wing values in branding, according to Task and Purpose. One example is a 2021 advertising scheme that emphasized the different kinds of people who could join the service, highlighting a same-sex family.
Left-wing trends in the military’s education and personnel policies — including emphasizing inclusion of LGBTQ+ servicemembers, dubling down on outreach to minority communities, and teaching CRT and giving pronoun advice at the military academies — to support “diversity as a strategic imperative” could cause conservative, often white families to believe they “are not welcome or appreciated in the military,” Elaine Donnelly, president of the Center for Military Readiness, told the DCNF in June.

The Army and every other branch needs to focus on appealing to all Americans, regardless of their political beliefs or background,” Republican Indiana Rep. Jim Banks, who chairs the military personnel subcommittee on the House Armed Services Committee and has sworn to crack down on wokeness in the military, said to the DCNF.

The Army missed its recruiting objectives for 2022 of 60,000 new members by 25%; to make up for that offset, the service set a “stretch goal” for 2023 to 65,000 recruits, according to Wormuth.
The Army accelerated launch of the new branding effort to help with recruiting for 2023, Wormuth explained at the event Wednesday. The new campaign cost roughly $117 million to execute, she said, and is a result of extensive work that included focus groups with relevant stakeholders. But leaders are confident that a data-driven approach will yield results.
The U.S. needs an Army that shows itself to be a capable, hard-hitting force that can defeat and deter enemy aggression, not one that prioritizes inclusion over competence and lowers standards to accommodate more self-described identities, GOP lawmakers argue.

About 84% of new recruits come from military families, according to Gen. McConville.
“So we’re becoming a military family business. We want to be an American family business,” he told reporters Wednesday.
“We need every young person in this country, we need every parent in this country, to know that the United States military is a pathway to success,” McConville said.

Commentary:
Methinks that the efforts of Woke Secy. of Defense Austin and Woke Gen. Mark Milley to feminize our military with transgender's has failed miserably. Sounds more like they're changing the label on the can, but not the contents. Bait and switch.
A TV commercial is going to save it all?
Take a long hard look at The Commander In Chief. Would you fight under him? Look at The Kabul Fiasco. Look at his woke generals and SOS. Not to mention the fact that Biden appears to be instigating for WWIII. Haha.
With people like Biden, Austin, and Milley leading the country and the military, what would you expect to happen. They're intent on using the armed forces of this country for political rather than defense purposes.
The joint military forces will have to do more than change its commercials to fix its recruiting problems. Their 'woke' choices has damaged its institutional reputation for years, and it's going to need to get rid of everyone involved at the top, starting with Biden, Austin, and Milley.

Too little, too late.

Why would any Patriotic White male want to join Potatohead's woke military?

To be passed over on promotions so that some racial quota can be met?

To have to go to CRT training to be told why they are evil for being White?

To be used for protection for the Democrat Party that steals elections?

No thanks is what a lot of people are saying. That is why recruitment is down so much.

WOKE isnt the problem numbskulls. A 3.4% unemployment rate is along with the a larger percentage of ineligible Americans. The top three reasons for ineligibility are failure to pass entrance exams, health concerns and prior criminal activity, including drug abuse. One of the main health concerns is childhood obesity, which counts for 30 percent of those who are ineligible.

Getting assplowed while in your barracks doesn't help recruitment either.

As opposed to a black male? Or a Latina woman? Is every fucking thing in the world about "categories" with you? Just like a democrat.

The part where we have 3.6 percent unemployment and there are plenty of other options
Yeah that's the reason. Our unemployment has been exceedingly low for over a decade. We havent had the recruiting problems we have now. All of that cant be attributed to the "woke" culture the military is adopting (and yes they are I still have friends who are active and I hear about it all the time) but some of it is (though that's probably hurting retention more which exacerbates the recruiting issues). Really it's more about the failed ad campaigns they've used. The Army in particular gets this wrong over and over. (The Marine Corps always hits it's recruiting numbers) Another huge factor is the pool of people who are even physically eligible to serve is shrinking every year. This just past campaign that said everyone is unique and it's your Army do what you want was a failure for the same reason "Army of One" was a failure. It runs counter to everything the service is supposed to be about, what people are looking for if they are looking to join the service.

Our unemployment is at record lows and salaries are zooming

Recruits have other options

Recruiting wouldn't be hurting because of the threat of new stupid wars would it?
The 'military problem' is intimately connected to the 'foreign policy problem' and the 'education problem', as well as to the Left's steadily turning all of our institutions 'woke'.

What patriots need to do is to come up with an alternative vision for all of these things:

(1) Foreign policy: no more 'voluntary' foreign wars. We can have alliances, but they need to be alliances that clearly benefit us, and where our ally pulls his weight. We need to stop trying to remain the world hegemon.

This is a long discussion, best held among patriots only.

Should all patriots join the National Guard if they're under 36? Yes, but I can't help remembering a photo from about 15 years ago: a National Guard Humvee in Baghdad, with a sign on the back:
" 'One weekend a month', my ass!"

We should try to greatly expand the State Guards and National Guard. Make it much easier to enroll in these programs and carry on with your normal life. The Minutemen didn't need 8 weeks of Basic Combat Training and twelve weeks of Advanced Individual Training. At the same time, our foreign policy must be one that means you will not lightly be deployed abroad. [ State defense force - Wikipedia ]

(2) We need to make sure that ROTC is an option in every high school. The hard Left hate this program, hate military recruiting in the schools, and are working away to undermine it. (This may have changed somewhat as they make the military a 'woke' Social Justice Re-Education Camp.)
[ Campus Military Recruitment Roils Students ]
[ Standing Up to Military Recruiters ]

More than that, we need to purge the schools of the anti-American 'woke' teachers and curriculum, 'Critical Race Theory', etc. Schools should teach children to love their country, not despise it. Who would want to volunteer to fight for a racist-sexist-hell-hole?

Veterans organizations need to get together, and initiate a national "Junior Soldiers" program aimed at younger children, a kind of alternative to the Boy Scouts (do they still exist?) Young boys love guns and playing war, and we should take advantage of that. A 'Junior Medical Corps should appeal to little girls. But this will require serious thinking, and a national program advanced by all three major veterans programs and endorsed by large numbers of retired military.

Of course, we have to try to fix the military. If we can take the White House and have good majorities in Congress, we need to have a massive purge of all the people in the military (and the security agencies) who have implemented, or gone along with, 'woke' indoctrination.
[ The Next Republican President Must Fix the Military First ]

But ... we can start NOW at the local level in the schools, and with the State Guard if we live in a Red State.

But these things can only be done by organized groups. (For example, to get a State Guard where there is none, or to expand the State Guard where there is, we need to have a committee of veterans to run the campaign and make concrete proposals.)

The war on terror was difficult on the military since Bush refused to activate the draft and really abused the volunteer military by repeated deployments

But the issue today is the military embrace of butt fucking men wearing dresses and lipstick

Its an impossible situation for soldiers who dont go in for for that stuff
Every one of my kids joined during or after the Bush administration. Three Army, and one Air National Guard.

No. Even the Air Force can't get enough recruits.

Hell no. For a young person from a humble family it doesn't get much better than the military. Decent pay with no rent. Food is covered. Free healthcare and college. It's a steal. Versus what? 16 dollars an hour at Walmart with a rent bill and no healthcare?

The military is hurting for exactly the reasons mentioned by other people. Their image has taken a huge hit in the last decade. A big chunk of recruits come from those traditional homes that don't appreciate seeing male admirals walking around in heels.
Who is an admiral walking around in heels? Your imagination is running away with you.

Wrong again
