On a hill
Watching this series again... loved it.
But holy cow did this show go downhill after Kelso and Eric disappeared.
Season 8 is absolutely terrible.

All shows seem to fall off a cliff after 6-8 seasons. Actors get bored playing the same character, writers run out of ideas and viewers get bored watching them.

I was a teenager in the 70s and that show never reflected my memories
I just never got into it

Similar to Trailer Park Boys.
Season 7, the last season with producer and show founder Mike Clattenberg, was the last good season.
After that, it became a parody of itself.

"Not like the 70s" - that I agree with.
It was more like what would a family from the 90s look like if they were transported to the 70s.
I was born in 1965, so most of the 70s I was a younger kid. 5 to 14.
But I was waay more a product of the 70s than the horrible 80s.

Kind of like a lot of marriages.

My teen years were spoiled by overly religious parents trying to keep their little boy innocent. By the time I got out on my own it was the mid eighties and I partied like a satyr for ten years.

Yeah..it was suburbia..thus all the memes were about tract housing and such.
