So Perry used his freedom of speech to call for this person to step down just as some on the left are using it to call on him to resign and then used his legal veto power and this is supposed to be criminal? Think about this using two legal acts together can bring criminal charges against you.

His freedom of speech was never in question here. And while he does have the power to veto, how he uses his veto power can be considered an abuse of power.

It's not Perry's job, or responsibility, or his place, to try and force out an elected Texas DA just because he doesn't think they should their position. If this DA was as bad as Perry made her out to be, then go through the proper channels to remove her from office., it should be no problem, right?

Interesting take we have people in business who get forced out with the leave or be fired and the take early retirement or be fired options usually but not always for doing something stupid should they file criminal charges over this?
