Texas Open-Carry, Boys and their Deadly Toys.

As if we did not need another reason to fly over Texas, rather than to drive through it.....

I guess that i won't be going to the Houston Twin Peaks franchise for chicken breasts.

Forty four states allow open carry --- so, now it's forty five. Sounds like the will of the people to me.
The will of the people is for much stricter gun control, and we've been blocked from having it for decades.
Not that it matters what people think of it, if they don't want a gun, don't buy one. But the fact is, since Gallup started conducting the poll in 1990, the number for stricter gun control has gone from 68% to 47%. The amount for keeping laws as they are have gone from 17% to 38%. The amount who want less strict gun laws has gone from 2% to 14%. The American public is moving in the pro freedom direction on firearm ownership.

Bullshit you socialist pos.
Not at all. We've wanted better controls for decades, and couldn't get them. Now you boys are happy off playing with your toys, and the nation is letting you. Since you mostly kill yourselves, or other family members, so be it.

I thought liberals weren't out to get our guns? Things are so confusing....

Hmmm..Japan isn't the country with the most suicide.....Greenland is or was...but...favorite method of suicide in Japan.....hanging....and they do it at twice the rate we do...good thing we don't have any rope here in the U.S...if we get rid of guns no one will kill themselves....

Here in Oregon, we've always had open carry.

The OP acts like Texas is doing something crazy, when the truth is they're really late to the show.

And:

"Most Texas gun deaths are suicides

There are more suicide deaths by guns in the state of Texas than gun-related homicides. ... Suicides account for nearly 57 percent of the state's gun deaths. That’s compared to 41 percent who die by homicide."
Grits for Breakfast Most Texas gun deaths are suicides

Than what are you worried about?
I'm not. And I'll enjoy reading up on the additional accidental shootings. If it bleeds, it leads.

accidental car deaths 2013... Over 35,000

accidental gun deaths 2013.... 505

Yeah...in a country of over 320 million, American gun owners are very responsible....

Suicide is a well-respected tradition in their culture, not ours. Without a gun suicide is a great deal more work. When the guns go suicides go down. That's reality.
