Texas considers allowing open carry of handguns

If you have the right to carry a gun, others have the right to know it.

Those who are too scared to leave the house without a gun should be required to "open carry".

Some people shouldn't post their opinions on message boards. Best be silent than remove all doubt of your idiocy.

I'm surprised it's illegal in Texas. It's legal in liberal Washington State, go figure. I rarely see it though and would only open carry in the woods where animals are the primary concern. We had a bunch open carrying, including long guns and "assault" rifles in the Capital lawn yesterday protesting the phoney background check law.
