Ted Cruz suggests Texas could secede and "take NASA and the military" if Dems "destroy the country"

Not true....Both founding documents were the foundation to declare war on the south in an attempt to end slavery...All men created equal...what don't you get about that?....without the constitution women would still be fighting for the right to vote and slavery would still be legal....
You said you cared for America "as founded"

Now you're trying to say that you prefer Fords Model-T because it would eventually become the Ford Mustang.

That's what American became, not what it was founded on.
But it was the founding documents that made it possible...slavery and denying the vote to people was illegal under the constitution...this is why that document is so awesome...there will always be bad people that will want to separate the people by race....we are seeing the left trying to do that today...they won't succeed because we have the constitution....

No where did you get that?...out of your ass?...the civil war began when the south bombed fort sumpter...but they did that do fight against the norths newly enacted laws of the land....the north wanted an end to slavery and the democrat's in the south wanted the slaves on the plantation to work....

The constitution not only made slavery legal, it protected slavery for the next decade. And the constitution left it to the states to determine who could vote, and the several states denied the franchise to over half the population.

"fort sumpter"................:heehee:

And no, the North did not want to end slavery....the Republican Party wanted to stop the growth of slavery into the Western territories.

I made a typo big deal...read this and learn something you poor public educated fool....

The Civil War began when Southern troops bombarded Fort Sumter, South Carolina.

When the southern states seceded from the Union, war was still not a certainty. Federal forts, barracks, and naval shipyards dotted the southern landscape. Many Regular Army officers clung tenaciously to their posts, rather than surrender their facilities to the growing southern military presence. President Lincoln attempted to resupply these garrisons with food and provisions by sea. The Confederacy learned of Lincoln’s plans and demanded that the forts surrender under threat of force. When the U.S. soldiers refused, South Carolinians bombarded Fort Sumter in the center of Charleston harbor. After a 34-hour battle, the soldiers inside the fort surrendered to the Confederates. Legions of men from north and south rushed to their respective flags in the ensuing patriotic fervor.

The civil war was started by the union refusing to get the fuck out of South Carolina.

Slavery was the main reason for secession but NOT the reason for the war. Anyone saying other than that is spreading cocksucking lies.

The Union wasn't in South Carolina anymore. Fort Sumter was a federal installation, owned and run by the United States government.

Social Security has paid its obligations for 80 years
No indication it will not continue to do so

In 80s years we've never completely ignored our increasing debt crisis like we do today. THere are limits to this party bro.. The check is coming.. If interest rates tick up -- some things gotta change because we cannot SELL anymore at higher rates.

You know HOW MUCH PER DAY we pay out JUST for interest on that debt?

$478 BILLION A YEAR -- $1.3 BILLION a DAY.,

That's 1/2 of what the TOTAL FEDERAL BUDGET was in 1974. It's now 10% of the yearly budget and expected to double by 2030 or so at CURRENT NEAR ZERO INTEREST RATES

If Brandon Builds Back Broke for 3 more years and inflation triggers RATE INCREASES, we'll be back here in LESS than 10 years talking about pissing into pots.
