There are a million things to consider on this issue. But the one overwhelming positive that I see is this would put an end to the corruption. Billionaires like George Soros and Tom Steyer can purchase greedy, soul-less prostitutes like Harry Reid and Nancy Pelosi. But they can't purchase 50 - 100 million Americans on each and every vote.
