Tea Party vs GOP ship jumpers

The so-called “Tea Party” activists are simpletons: they are always bringing up the “founding fathers” and the Constitution - as if any of them ever read the Constitution, much less understand its provisions for the foundation of our government. “We want our country back!” they cry. It’s laughable. They are like the evangelical Christians that misquote the gospels and ask, insipidly: “What would Jesus do?” They are stooges and shills for those who would use them to their own cross purposes.

So you have nothing against their positions of wanting a smaller government contained by the limits imposed on it by the constitution?

It seems all you have is generalized hateful statements that are nonsensical similar to "Democrats believe minorities are inferior which is why they like affirmative action"

Once the Tea Party and other radical rightwingers realize they have been lied to and stolen from by the top 1% who own the gov't and are the ones who have benefited from 30 years of tax cuts for the wealthy they will truely be a force to be reconed with. In 1929 the top 1% received 23% of the nation's income, in the 50s and 60s they had roughly 7%, on the eve of the Great Recession they were back up to 23% again.

To ask the famous Ronald Regan question: Is the average American family better off now (after the tax cuts to the wealthy) or during the 50s when the top tax rate was in about 70%?

From a New York Times article, the top 25 hedge fund managers in 2007 receved on average 900 million dollars in income and paid a tax rate of 15%. Is that the country Washington and Jefferson wanted to see?

most of us weren't alive or adults in the 50's, we wont be able to draw that comparison.

Those that ignore history get to relive it. I remember the fifties very well. We had an ex-general as President, a man that hated war, and had a strong desire to build great infrastructure in this nation. Followed by a young man that had some impossible dreams and aspirations for this nation. Now we have the great Interstate System, and have gone to the moon. And a whole bunch of people that have been born since these accomplishments that are all about what our nation is incapable of.

Rational Tea Party(Ron Paul, Individual Freedom, American Constitution) vs Radical Right GOP ship jumpers sponsered by corporations and Fox(Palin,Beck, Islamaphobes, bigotry).

Are there two different Tea Parties?

Rational Democrats (Lieberman, Dan Boren) v radical laft (PETA, Code Pink, Barney Frank, appeasement of terrorists, classwarfare)

Are there tow different Democratic Parties?

LIEberman cost McCain the Presidency and is on my list of worst Americans.

And your talking about fundamentally transforming the america that allowed all that to happen.

Ike gave one of the greatest speeches in American history. IMO We have lost that can do attitude of the 50's and 60's ecause most Americans are struggling to survive with the whole family working at Walmart.

What have 30 years of tax cuts for the wealthy and deregulation of corporate America gotten us? The banking industry was less regulated in 2007 than before the New Deal, and this got us the Great Recession. Tax cuts for the wealthy do create jobs; the only problem is that they are in China, where the wealthy move their companies to. Levis arn't even made in America anymore.

Tea Party vs. GOP.

Watch as the pot calls the kettle black and then protest claiming that that's not the reason!
